Grief and how to cope

If someone we love has died we are now faced with the difficult, but important, need to mourn and grieve. Grief represents our feelings of sorrow when someone we love dies. Mourning is the outward expression of our feelings and an essential part of the journey of reconciling loss.

Experiencing grief is different for every individual and should never be compared to another person’s circumstance or experience. Life may change dramatically for you and in many different ways when someone you love is no longer present in your life, and it can be overwhelming.

Grief – An Explanation

Grief can also be a powerful influence and not necessarily confined to one feeling but can be represented by a succession of feelings.
