We are sad to hear of the passing of Alec. Enjoyed our meetings in connection with the wine group and also his assistance in running the football competition. A true gentleman and gentle man. Playing the fairways in the sky! Condolences to Antionette and families. Jill and Ross Millar (Launceston)

Thank you for making Alec’s service available for all of us who couldn’t be present at St Mary’s. You’ve done a beautiful job with flowers, readings, eulogy and the photo memorial. I felt a part of the ceremony. Love 💕 Meg xx

Alec, was my Great Uncle and I will always remember him for his kindness and sense of humour. He always made time for everyone he spoke to and was genuinely interested to learn what different family members were doing. Alec enjoyed large-extended family gatherings in Mackay and Brisbane and welcomed everyone who turned up on his doorstep in Geelong. Sending sincere condolences to Toi, Allison and Sally. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. From Colette and Brett Weeden
