Betty will always be remembered as an enthusiastic organiser, who expected high standards from other volunteers. Both Rob and Betty contributed enormously to their community . Their faith, love and hard work provided an example to many. Her sponge cakes cooked for the regular dances at the Inverleigh Hall were legendary and the bands loved them. There are many memories that we will continue to cherish. Our thoughts are with Heather and Alan and their families. Rest in Peace, reunited with Rob.

Betty was one of the great characters of Inverleigh from the time she arrived after her marriage to Rob, right up until her passing. A person of great integrity and high standards, she gave 100% to everything including the many local committees and projects that she supported. She was a great font of knowledge and willingly shared her excellent memory of people and events. Her service to the Inverleigh Public Hall was outstanding. We will always remember Betty with affection and gratitude for the way she embraced us, as new arrivals, and helped us to become part of our community.
