Craig served as a leader in various roles within our Innisfail church while we were senior pastors. He was always cheerful, a sincere man with a great heart and hunger for God. We deeply appreciate the sacrifice of love and labour that Craig gave. Ashley & Ruth Schmierer

I met Craig firstly as a young teenager when he came to do work for my father, tiling his bathroom. A few years later I started attending COC in Innisfail. Craig and Jan were my youth pastors. I have great memories of them both. I am so saddened to hear of his passing. But so grateful that Heaven is his home, and this absence from his loved ones is for just a short time. Johnny and I send you our love and prayers. John and Kerry-Lee

This news has come as such a huge shock to us both. We truly loved and admired both Craig and Jan and the time Craig always had for both of us in our early adult years. Such a generous man with always an encouraging, uplifting word to say - even when he gave some straight talking advice or insight to young people at times xox. We truly respected him and knew him to be a Godly man of integrity- a true gentleman in both words and action, as well as the way he lived! We wish our children could have known him. Fun memories are held for Ray from working alongside Craig as a young man and some special memories for Belinda, staying with the Wilkerson family in Melbourne all those years ago…. Remembering how Craig would break out in spontaneous singing anytime, anywhere :) So many memories in between. Thankyou Craig for influencing our lives. PS: Your generator still works 💕💕

Craig was always a gentleman and had an encouraging word for anyone he spoke to. He was an excellent preacher and his knowledge of the bible was a benchmark we wanted to get to ourselves. They were wonderful days in Innisfail COC and Craig was an important part of the many achievements accomplished by the Church. Dave and Rita Harney

I first met Craig when he came to tile our families bathroom when I was fourteen, I remember he gave me some chocolate. Little did I know, he would be my Youth Pastor two years later. I was tiling just last week and thought about him, as I do whenever I lay tile. Craig was a gentleman, which is a pretty common term, but in Craig’s case it was the essence of who he was “ A Gentle Man “ Softly spoken and kindhearted , Highly respected and never forgotten, Our condolences to your all Love Rodney and Rachel Crossland

I’m sad to say that we have only known Craig for a short time, a few of years. In that time your friendship was certain, your love express in your eyes. I never heard a word, complaining of pain, never lost your concern for others, even in mist of your suffering. A Good Christian friend. Love Michael & Julie Crisapulli

Its still hard to believe Craig has gone to be with the lord. My family and I appreciate the love and care you showed to us over the years. I always appreciated the one on one time shared with Craig and the encouragement and healthy challenge he would impart to me, pointing me to Jesus. Through his passion and service, Craig made significant Kingdom impact this side of eternity. Well done good and faithful servant!

Dear Family, The mention of Craig's Name brings such a consistent glow from within as his way of expressing Joy touches our hearts -now as they did so many years ago. Craig has such an integrity in his Christian walk that there was no disconnect The same Craig who was worshipping the LORD in Church was the same Craig that turned up for work on Monday &,yes, for Home Group on Wednesdays all those years ago. His habit of letting that joy in His Saviour find expression in song was such an encouragement - and will never forget our Group's "signature" song, "The Chimes of times ring out the news- --- Appreciating the legacy of Craig's life as he lives on, and you Jan, David,Joanna & Nathan Thank you & Gods Comfort to you all xxS
