Dear family of Harry, You have been in my prayers and I send loving thoughts to you all. Harry was a great man - he was my second father for 6 months of my life and I have always treasured that time. I am so pleased that he has gone to be with his Lord. I thank God for the life of Harry Thornley. Much love, Rosemary

One of the strongest and most gentle men we have had the privilege to know. The firm handshakes, genuine conversations and endless stories will be missed. All our love to Anna and the extended family.

A truly befitting service for a lovely godly gentleman. We had a lovely visit with Harry in early February whilst he was in hospital. Our love and condolences to Anna and all the family, our joy is in knowing that Harry is now in God's presence.

Harry was like a rock ~ secure, unchanging in essence even as a little erosion took place with ageing. His humour, kindness and integrity were evident to all who knew him as he lived an authentic life. My sympathy is with Anna and the extended family.
