Margaret, I have fond memories of you and your family from my days at Tate Street and later catching up on news of the family when I caught up with you in your role as a nurse. I'm thinking of the whole family but Sadat-Jon in particular having taught him twice. I am unable to attend the funeral as I will be away.

To Margaret& family, my heartfelt condolences go to you all on the loss of Jamil. He was one of nature’s gentleman, quick witted and an amazing sense of humour. I remember our times at BP Stewart’s, chatting about the football and disagreeing on a few points..... Thinking of you all at this time Kind regards Heather Cooke

Thinking of you Margaret and sending much love to you and your family. Jamil’s smile and cheeky nature is legendary. He’s already missed at Splashdown and his regular phone calls to check in on us we’re always very welcome. He was a friend to us all and we loved him dearly.

I remember Jamil driving us to the beach for a surf when we were teenagers and playing golf together. Always good with his footy tips and discussions about cricket. He was a physical beast at the gym putting many of us to shame with his fitness. I will miss the good banter but remember him very fondly. Thinking about my old mate Kamal, Margaret and family at this time. Love and best wishes from Dean, Kai, Celesty and extended Benson family.
