Irreplaceable. Gifted. An inspiration. John was a fine example of creative, Christian commitment. He had the humility that does not expect reward. Thus he modelled the devoted servant of Luke 17: 10 who said, "... we have only done our duty".

A good friend so giving of his time, always interested in people, their concerns and joys. He will be sadly missed in the Winchelsea community, for his involvement in local activities and concerns. The Winchelsea Uniting Church has been richly blessed from his 9 years of ministry. Thank you John for your friendship and support over this time. Many happy memories of your time and conversations together. Always remembered. May the Lord bless you and keep you...Jeanette McConachy.

John was a fun cousin for me back in our early days. I used to enjoy his company when our families were able to get together. Thinking of you, John, as I reflect on those early years, and hear about the great things you've done since.

Heartfelt thoughts from us to you, Olive. John was such a talented, exemplary man who openly and humbly gave of his time and talents to so many in the Winchelsea Community. How we used to enjoy Morning Melodies when he played so beautifully.

Hello John, I know that you have met God already and I am sure that you are living in heaven with joy and peace. I am very grateful that I had the chance to have at least a good chat with you last year. Thank you for everything that you did for my family and helping us to grow in the presence of Jesus.
