Passed away on 25 March 2022
Also known as Peter George HOPE, the name under which he served in the Australian Army, doing National Service and time with 3RAR during in the Malayan Emergency in 1957-58. Finished his service at Portsea OCS.

Born to Thelma Tomison (née Tanner) and John David Tomison, his father dying while he was still an infant. Spent time living with his paternal grand parents – David and Mary Tomison in east Geelong. Returned home when his mother married Henry Hope, who became his much loved stepfather.

Beloved brother of Moya, John (dec) and Norman (dec). Father of Adam and Clare when married to Adrienne O’Brien. Uncle to Belinda, Paul, Sharon, Karen, Lynn and Andrew and his many grandnieces and grandnephews.

Apart from his Army service spent his life in Geelong, working at the Phosphate Co and then Fords. A fanatical Geelong Football Club fan, and avid footballer (in his youth), squash, golf and lawn bowls player.

Died at the grand old age of 84 (almost 85] from complications arising from COVID-19.
