Dear Merle and Family. My thoughts and prayers are with you today as you go though the difficult task of the final goodbye. Bob and I were so close as kids and only kept in touch by emails in recent years….I will miss him and his jovial catch-ups. Love you, my brother. I will be with you in spirit, watching from Virginia Beach, Virginia USA.

My deepest sympathy to the Bell family on the passing of Bob. My late husband, Philip, worked with Bob at Shell for many years. He respected him highly and often quoted him at home, always with a smile and a chuckle at something amusing Bob had said. Bob has left a wonderful legacy behind him through his family and he will be greatly missed. Thinking of you all at this very sad time. Louise King
