I knew Bob for close on 40 yrs, made lots of cups of tea containing buckets of sugar over that time. He was a great joke teller, a very kind and caring man with a heart of gold. He is going to be missed by many. Enjoyed catching up when crossing paths on our travels. See ya one day....xx

Sending deepest condolences to you Lynne and all Bobs extended family . I have memories going back well over 40 years of my Latrobe Valley days , where Bob was such a big part of my and my families life . How we survived the antics of horses , motorbikes and sking on Hazelwood Pondage with our mutual friends was anybodies guess . He was such a generous man with his time , and his sense of humor was never matched . Going to miss you , and Lynnes random drop in"s up here in the Nth East , where years could past , but time would stand still to old and new memories shared . May you RIP dear friend , and my biggest regret will now always be not keeping touch more often , but your friendship and kindness will never be forgotten . Love always Vicki Franks ( Lewer )
