Stan was like a second father to me and I am so glad and honoured that he was in my life. He was the loveliest, sweetest man and I treasure the time I spent with him and Beatrice. "Bear" spotting and trying to 4 wheel drive with him are memories I will hold dear forever. I wish I could actually be with you all today but I will be in spirit and watching the stream in the UK and sending you all my love and best wishes. Hilary

My sincere condolences to all of Stan's family. It was such a honour and a privilege to work with Stan, share some common interests and learn from him. He was a first class tradesman and a first class bloke! I'll treasure the great memories I have of Stan and little Sally, the 4x4, and the stories he told. Rest in peace mate. Steve Allen and the Allen family.

So many fond memories of Stan. We loved his droll sense of humour and appreciated the building jobs he did for us. He was a perfectionist as a tradesman and a man of great integrity. Our loving thoughts to Beatrice, Sandra, Gayle, Adam and Jason.

Dear Beatrice & family Sorry we were unable to attend the service for Stan as both had Covid. We watched the live stream and felt part of the celebration of Stan’s life. Neil loved ‘smoko’ on the job with Stan, always a laugh, and memories shared. Deepest sympathy and love to all the family Neil & Alison Reid. ❤️🌹
