Tom was indeed one of God's master piece and Tom in turn used his God given artistic talent to honour His maker. We are so blessed to have lovely times of celebration of birthdays with Tom. We will treasure those memories, till we meet again at Jesus' feet Tom!

Dear Judy and family. I was Tom's close mate from our Ballarat days at Protestant Hall, Urquhart St School and Ballarat High school. Indeed Tom was loyal, energetic and a personal soul mate. I value those years together and treasure the memories. I was also close to all the members of the family and Tom's father, Charles officiated in my marriage to Loris. We convey our deepest condolences and rejoice we will all meet again in that coming day with our Saviour, Jesus.

Judy, Peter and Tamus We cherish wonderful images of Tom as a person of outstanding integrity, humility and humanity. We have fond memories of his yacht race calls at Coolamatong, despite his harsh descriptions of our Hartley, or more particularly, its skipper. What a privilege to share in his beautiful service of thanksgiving and reflect on his powerful and influential life. You are deeply in our thoughts. Ken & Bev Sleep

Dear Judy and family, My condolences to you. The funeral service was a wonderful tribute to Tom. I had a good 20 years association with Tom through Veterans Tennis. He was a skillful player- lovely to watch .I was disappointed when he opted to hang up his racquet. Photos showed Tom had "film star" good looks as a dark haired younger man, and he remained handsome throughout his life.. May his dear soul rest in peace with his Lord.

Dear Judy, Peter and Tamas, Val and Bronwyn It was such a beautiful service, and I was glad that I had the chance to join live. I would have been there in person if it was possible. It's never easy to say goodbye to loved ones and funerals aren't easy; however, this celebration of Tom’s life was precisely what I was expecting, a reflection of a man not only showing his gentle demeanour but his Christ centred personality. I always loved coming down to the Wells’ house in Ocean Grove and am very thankful for the friendship not just because I’m mates with Pete and Tame, but also with Tom and Judy. I loved the company, the chats and Tom’s wise words. You are deeply in our thoughts. Luke and Kelly
