He was a wonderful, special man , who was such a great Dad, and he will live on through you all in so many ways. I am so sorry that he has gone now, so sad for the loss you all are feeling. Biggest hugs to Noela, they were to peas in a pod. Much love to you all.

To Noela, Vicki,Trac and family' There are too many words to express on what a true gent Bill was, through out our days fishing at Strahan and King Island, a fellow golfer and friend, I will always be grateful to the knowledge he taught me over the years and the friendship we had, a hole has been left ,Michael. Bill, Noela and girls, I was welcomed into your family and will remember the late nights down at the creek either waiting for the boys to come home or leave, our nightly listening to the radio for our update of their day on the ocean, a wonderful man,Debi

Thank you Grandpa for your love of sport, your dedication to the meal of dessert and for sharing with me and showing me the definition of gentleman. You are the leader of our family, and always will be. I love you and will miss you with all of my heart, and will always think of you at the start of an Ashes series, Australian Open, Bathurst, PGA tournament, Sydney to Hobart and any other sporting event which is aired on TV. May the wind change favour you, dessert offer seconds and the music always play a dancing tune.

To Noela, Vicki, Tracey, Melanie,Lauren and families. What a beautiful farewell for Bill, the respect he was held was shown in the honor bestowed on him from Fire Brigade and the attendance from the MG Car Club as well as local people which showed just how much he was held in respect and love. He was such a beautiful person whom you will miss, embrace the memories as we also will.

Farewell my dear friend - You have left us with so many memories of time spent together, traversing so many golf courses such as Queenscliff, Lonsdale, Curlewis and farther away like Berri, Renmark and of course, Bateman's Bay. A European odyssey thru' France, Spain, Switzerland, Austria & Germany - getting lost!! All part of life's rich tapestry of friendship & Bill, how did you put up with my abysmal golf??!! May you tread the fairways of the great unknown without fear or trepidation. R.I.P. my dear friend. Pam & Ray
