On Sunday November 22nd
Our John unexpectedly passed away.
A loving husband, a truly awesome Dad.
A heart of gold, missed everyday.
John was an amazing person. A real go getter, funny, smart, charming, devoted, honest, opinionated, strong, brave, so generous, extraordinarily hard working, fun, interesting and the most wonderful Dad.

I was deeply shocked to hear of John's sudden passing. After working together for 2 decades there wasn't much we didn't know about each other. John was an extremely hard worker & dedicated his life to his family. I had a troubled youth & my father (dec) asked John if he had a job for me. John, being the type of bloke he was, said of course. He stressed to my dad he would make me so tired i wouldn't have the energy to get up to mischief. He succeeded, and so began our working life together. We had a great friendship & working relationship through the good and the bad times. We worked hard but we were also able to relax together and have a few drinks.
John, you taught me a lot over those years and your outlook on life will stay with me forever and a day.
Unfortunately I cannot attend the funeral due to health issues, but i will be celebrating your life on Wednesday in my own way.
My Sincere Condolences to Sandra, Debbie, Jenny & Shaun

I'm blessed to have that most wonderful of things; a brother who is both a great friend to share my troubles with and a mate with whom to laugh.
Witnessing John and my Dad, Brian, discover that in each other, after all those decades apart, has been and will always be one of the great joys of my life.
John was a wonderful man who I am so very proud to call my uncle.
All our love is with the whole family out in Australia. I hope there is some small comfort in knowing what happiness John brought to our lives, all these miles away.
Thinking of you all and our heartfelt condolences.
Steve and the whole Olley family
