John passed away peacefully at home last Friday, aged 75, in the embrace of his loving and beloved family.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Helen and children, Libby, Jean, Angus, Milly and Susan, their partners and children.
His life was one of selflessness and kindness to all. He will be remembered and celebrated always, as his legacy as a true gentleman of our times, lives on.

Bushikori is a school and health centre in Uganda. If you choose to donate in memory of John, envelopes will be available at the service.
